Katherine Banos is a bi-coastal actor/writer/producer. She grew up in Syosset, New York on Long Island and has her BFA in Acting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts [Experimental Theater Wing & Stonestreet Studios]. She is also a graduate of the Terry Knickerbocker Studio, a Meisner based conservatory in Brooklyn.
Katherine has extensive experience in the entertainment industry, including working for NBCUniversal, Glickmania Entertainment (now known as Panoramic Media), Scott Rudin productions, CBS Primetime Casting, Shakespeare Center of LA, the Lark Play Development Center, and the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
One of her proudest accomplishments to date is writing producing and starring in her short film, RING OF FIRE. The film was an official selection of 25 film festivals spanning across 3 countries, 11 states, and 23 cities. The film was nominated for 31 awards among the many festivals and won 14.
