Katherine Banos is a New York based bi-coastal actor/writer/producer. She grew up in Syosset, New York on Long Island and has her BFA in Acting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts [Experimental Theater Wing & Stonestreet Studios]. She is currently studying Meisner Technique at the Terry Knickerbocker Studio in Brooklyn. Her teachers and mentors include Terry Knickerbocker, Jessica Hecht, and Estelle Parsons.
 
Katherine has extensive experience in the entertainment industry, including working for NBCUniversal, Glickmania Entertainment, the Public Theater, Scott Rudin productions, CBS Primetime Casting, Shakespeare Center of LA, the Lark Play Development Center, and the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
 
One of her proudest accomplishments to date is launching her production company LEXINGTON PRODUCTIONS with her producing partner, Madison Tower. Together they produced the short film, RING OF FIRE, written by and starring Katherine. The film was an official selection of 25 film festivals spanning across 3 countries, 11 states, and 23 cities. The film was nominated for 31 awards among the many festivals and won 14.
