Katherine has been accepted to study with Terry Knickerbocker in his two year conservatory program. in New York City It is a two year program specializing in Meisner training. Katherine will be taking classes in Acting, Movement, Voice, Alexander Technique, Clown, and Voiceover.
PRIVATE VOICE: KEN STACEY
Katherine is embarking on her fifth year of studying voice privately with singer/songwriter, mentor, and producer Ken Stacey, the lead singer of the five time, Grammy nominated band, Ambrosia. Ken has extensive experience and a rich history in the music industry, including working on the hit shows AMERICAN IDOL, THE VOICE and THE X-FACTOR, as well as singing back up for Elton John and Michael Jackson.
CENTER THEATRE GROUP: WORKING IN THEATRE SUMMER SERIES
Katherine has completed CTG's Working in Theatre Summer Series. The workshop spanned across the summer and covered topics in the industry including funding, financing, and diversity/inclusion. The workshops were offered over Zoom with special industry guests each week.
SCRIPT ANALYSIS WITH JESSICA HECHT
Katherine studied with her mentor, Jessica Hecht, in her 6 week Script Analysis class through HB Studios in New York via zoom. Jessica's credits include "Breaking Bad," "Friends," "Succession," and "The Sinner." She was nominated for a Tony Award for her performance in "A View From the Bridge" in 2010.
